A Masterclass in Preservation: Smart Tech meets Classic Detail

For this project, our goal was to bring the pool’s mechanical systems into the 21st century while performing a delicate "surgical" resurfacing to preserve a beloved family feature.

Precision Craftsmanship: While most contractors would insist on replacing floor mosaics during a replaster, Flagship Pools has the expertise to work around them. We meticulously hand-prepped and plastered around the original Sailfish Mosaic, preserving this custom focal point while providing a crisp, new white plaster backdrop.
Tile Restoration: To maintain the pool’s classic aesthetic, we used professional abrasion blasting to deep-clean the existing waterline tile, removing years of buildup and sealing the grout to restore its original luster.
The Smart System Upgrade: We replaced the outdated equipment with a high-performance Jandy 1.85hp Variable Speed Pump. With the integrated IQPump01 Wi-Fi Controller, the homeowner now has total control over their pool from their smartphone, including automated freeze protection.
Optimized Sanitization: We installed a Jandy TruChlor™ Inline Chlorinator, specifically engineered to work with variable speed pumps for consistent, efficient water chemistry.

Senior Living Wellness Refresh: Safety & Longevity

For this community spa, we focused on a complete restoration that prioritized resident safety and long-term durability. By combining high-performance finishes with all-new stainless steel hardware, we brought this facility back to "Day One" standards.

The Surface: Noble Designer Series Pebble Plaster in Caribbean Blue. This vibrant finish offers a deep, inviting water color while providing a high-traction, slip-resistant surface for residents.
Safety Accents: We installed new porcelain tile accent strips along the outer edges of the steps and benches. These provide a high-contrast visual cue, essential for safe entry and exit in a senior living environment.
Hardware Overhaul: To eliminate rust stains and ensure structural integrity, we replaced the handrail with new, high-grade stainless steel equipment.

Modern Masterpiece: A Custom New Build

The Interior:NPT Stonescape Mini plaster in Tahoe Blue creates a deep, vibrant water color, enhanced by glass accent beads that catch the light from every angle.
The Waterline: We installed 2" x 4" Regatta Blue porcelain tile, providing a sophisticated, modern "subway" profile that defines the pool’s perimeter with a rich, bold hue.
The Feature Wall:Diana Royal Split Face Marble adds a dramatic, three-dimensional texture to the raised beam, offering a regal backdrop to the entire pool.
The Perimeter:Silver Classic Travertine coping provides a sleek, modern edge that is naturally slip-resistant and stays cool underfoot.
The Surround: A custom stamped concrete deck provides the look of natural stone with the durability and low maintenance of professional masonry.

The "Engine Room" Upgrade: We completely overhauled the equipment pad with Jandy equipment, including a high-efficiency variable speed pump, filter, and chlorinator. For a truly custom look, all plumbing was painted to match the system for a clean, professional aesthetic.
Modern Automation: To complete the transformation, we integrated a full automation system, giving the homeowner total control over her backyard sanctuary at the touch of a button.

Restoring the Sparkle: Deck & Feature Rejuvenation

Not every pool needs a full renovation to look incredible. Sometimes, a deep clean and a fresh coat of protection are all it takes to restore that "Day One" feeling.

Water Feature Restoration: We used professional abrasion blasting to safely and effectively remove years of mineral buildup and scaling from the stone water feature, revealing its natural color and texture.
Deck Resurfacing: To complete the transformation, we repainted the spray deck, providing a clean, uniform look that protects the concrete and feels great underfoot.
