Remodeled swimming pool in Sun Meadow in Friendswood featuring white plaster, accent tile and new handrail.

The Project: This pool refresh combined a new classic white plaster interior with carefully selected step and bench accents. NPT Baroque Blue tile provides visual contrast at changes in depth, while a color-matched composite handrail provides a comfortable, corrosion-resistant entry point.

  • The Backdrop: A crisp, smooth white plaster finish that creates bright, shimmering water and a brilliant, clean aesthetic.

  • The Step & Bench Accents: Instead of standard markers, we installed NPT Baroque Blue 1" x 2" Glossy Tile along the outer edges of the steps and benches. This gorgeous, textured tile resembles a watercolor painting—blending deep ocean blues with earthy browns to provide a high-contrast visual cue for safe entry.

  • The Smart Hardware Upgrade: To complete the transformation, we installed a premium color-matched composite handrail. Engineered specifically for the Texas sun, this composite rail stays completely cool to the touch on hot summer days and will never rust or corrode.

Preserving the Details: Classic Pool Meets Smart Technology

Pool Resurfacing & Equipment Upgrade | League City TX

The goal of this renovation was to modernize the pool's mechanical systems while preserving a feature that mattered to the homeowner—the original Sailfish mosaic. We carefully resurfaced around the existing mosaic, restored the waterline tile and upgraded the equipment with a Jandy variable-speed pump, Wi-Fi control and modern chlorination.

  • Precision Craftsmanship: While most contractors would insist on replacing floor mosaics during a replaster, Flagship Pools has the expertise to work around them. We meticulously hand-prepped and plastered around the original Sailfish Mosaic, preserving this custom focal point while providing a crisp, new white plaster backdrop.

  • Tile Restoration: To maintain the pool’s classic aesthetic, we used professional abrasion blasting to deep-clean the existing waterline tile, removing years of buildup and sealing the grout to restore its original luster.

  • The Smart System Upgrade: We replaced the outdated equipment with a high-performance Jandy 1.85hp Variable Speed Pump. With the integrated IQPump01 Wi-Fi Controller, the homeowner now has total control over their pool from their smartphone, including automated freeze protection.

  • Optimized Sanitization: We installed a Jandy TruChlor™ Inline Chlorinator, specifically engineered to work with variable speed pumps for consistent, efficient water chemistry.

Senior Living Wellness Refresh: Safety & Longevity

Commercial Spa Renovation | League City TX

This community spa renovation focused on resident safety, accessibility and long-term durability. The project included a new pebble interior finish, high-contrast step and bench accents, and replacement stainless-steel handrail hardware.

The Surface: Noble Designer Series Pebble Plaster in Caribbean Blue. This vibrant finish offers a deep, inviting water color while providing a high-traction, slip-resistant surface for residents.

Safety Accents: We installed new porcelain tile accent strips along the outer edges of the steps and benches. These provide a high-contrast visual cue, essential for safe entry and exit in a senior living environment.

Hardware Overhaul: To eliminate rust stains and ensure structural integrity, we replaced the handrail with new, high-grade stainless steel equipment.

Custom New Pool: A Modern Masterpiece

Designed and constructed from the ground up, this custom pool and spa combines cool-toned finishes with natural stone and modern materials. The project features NPT StoneScapes Mini Pebble in Tahoe Blue, Regatta Blue porcelain waterline tile, Diana Royal split-face marble, Silver Classic Travertine coping and a custom stamped-concrete deck.

The Interior: NPT Stonescape Mini plaster in Tahoe Blue creates a deep, vibrant water color, enhanced by glass accent beads that catch the light from every angle.

The Waterline: We installed 2" x 4" Regatta Blue porcelain tile, providing a sophisticated, modern "subway" profile that defines the pool’s perimeter with a rich, bold hue.

The Feature Wall: Diana Royal Split Face Marble adds a dramatic, three-dimensional texture to the raised beam, offering a regal backdrop to the entire pool.

The Perimeter: Silver Classic Travertine coping provides a sleek, modern edge that is naturally slip-resistant and stays cool underfoot.

The Surround: A custom stamped concrete deck provides the look of natural stone with the durability and low maintenance of professional masonry.

Designed as a complete backyard retreat, this Riverstone Ranch new build combines an expansive tanning ledge, raised spa, water features and carefully coordinated natural-stone and tile finishes. The pool was designed for swimming, relaxing and spending time in the water while keeping the entire space visually connected.

Restoring the Sparkle: Deck & Feature Rejuvenation

Not every pool requires a complete renovation. For this project, we restored the existing water feature using professional abrasion blasting to remove accumulated mineral deposits and refreshed the spray deck with a new protective coating.

League City Pool Resurfacing & Restoration

The Ultimate Backyard Refresh | League City TX

This League City pool didn't require a complete renovation. We restored the existing pool with new classic white plaster, professionally abrasion-blasted the waterline tile and coping to remove accumulated calcium and staining, and sealed the coping to help protect the restored surface.

Classic White Plaster: A classic finish that delivers that "sparkling blue" water look.

Abrasion Blasting: We used specialized media blasting to safely strip away years of calcium buildup and stains from the water line tile and coping, revealing the original color underneath.

Deep Sealing: To lock in the results, we applied a professional-grade sealant to the coping, protecting it against future weathering and chemical wear.
