Lakepoint Forest Pool Renovation
Engineering, Equipment & Finishes — Rebuilt as One Complete System
This Seabrook pool renovation went far beyond a cosmetic refresh. Flagship Pools addressed the pool's structural, mechanical, electrical, decking and finish systems to create a more reliable, efficient and cohesive backyard environment.
The project included structural skimmer replacement, a complete Jandy equipment upgrade, electrical improvements, deck resurfacing, expansion-joint restoration, new travertine coping, glass tile, natural stone and a new StoneScapes interior finish.

More Than a Cosmetic Renovation
This project was designed as a coordinated pool renovation—not a cosmetic refresh. Before the new finishes were installed, Flagship addressed the underlying skimmers, equipment, electrical and deck systems that support how the pool operates every day.
Rebuilding From the Inside Out
A successful pool renovation starts with the systems behind the finished surfaces. At Lakepoint Forest, several underlying components were addressed before the new finishes were installed.
Structural Skimmer Replacement
Both existing skimmers were removed and replaced as part of the renovation. The new skimmers were structurally connected to the pool using rebar dowels drilled and epoxied into the existing concrete structure.
Addressing the structural connection during replacement helps integrate the new skimmer assemblies with the existing pool rather than treating them as isolated components.
Modernizing the Equipment & Hydraulics
Renovating the visible pool was only part of the project. The Lakepoint Forest equipment pad was also upgraded with a modern Jandy system designed to improve filtration, circulation and control.
Jandy Equipment Upgrade
The upgraded equipment system includes a Jandy 2.7 HP variable-speed ePump, 460 sq. ft. Pro Series cartridge filter, electronic valve actuators and Jandy NeverLube diverter valves.
Improved Hydraulic Control
The skimmers were individually plumbed to provide independent flow control and greater flexibility when balancing circulation throughout the pool.
Electrical Improvements
A dedicated Siemens subpanel and 2-pole 20-amp GFCI breaker were installed as part of the equipment upgrade.
Robotic Cleaning
The previous booster-pump cleaning system was eliminated and replaced with a Polaris Alpha iQ robotic cleaner and caddy.
Restoring the Pool Deck
The existing deck was prepared and cleaned before receiving a new Spray Deck overlay and SGM Color Guard topcoat. The finished elevation was coordinated with the new travertine coping to create a cleaner transition around the pool perimeter.
Existing channel drains were cleaned, while visible skimmer lids and drain covers were finished to coordinate with the renewed deck surface.
Expansion-Joint Restoration
Failed expansion-joint material was removed and replaced with new elastomeric sealant. The finished joints were topped with embedded sand to create a more natural appearance while maintaining the flexibility needed between the deck and pool structure.
Raised Beam & Spa
Supreme White Split-Face Natural Stone
Dimensional split-face stone adds texture to the raised beam and exterior spa wall and provides contrast against the smoother surrounding finishes.
Coping
Silver Travertine & Natural Stone
The existing sandstone coping was removed and replaced with 12" Silver Travertine around the pool and 16" natural-stone coping around the spa.
A New Finish Palette
Cool blue glass, natural stone and light travertine were selected to create a cohesive finish palette throughout the renovated pool and spa.
Interior Finish
NPT StoneScapes Mini Pebble — White Osprey
The new pebble interior provides a bright water color while offering the durability of an aggregate pool finish.
Waterline Tile
NPT Moonscape Steel Blue Glass — 2" × 6"
Installed in a piano-key layout, the glass waterline tile adds color, reflection and visual depth around the pool perimeter.
Step & Bench Accents
NPT Equinox Textured Glass — Black Steel
High-contrast 1" × 1" accent tile defines steps and benches while improving underwater visibility.
Flagship Signature Startup
Installing a new cementitious pool finish isn't the final step. Proper startup and water management are important during the initial curing period.
Following installation of the new StoneScapes interior, Flagship provided our Signature Startup process, including daily brushing and chemical balancing during the first four days, followed by twice-weekly service for the next three weeks.
This process is designed to support proper curing and long-term performance of the new pool finish.
The Finished Lakepoint Forest Renovation
The completed Lakepoint Forest project brings the pool's structure, equipment, hydraulics, decking and finishes together as one coordinated renovation—modernizing the systems behind the pool while completely transforming the backyard visually.
A Complete Pool Transformation
Rather than addressing individual components in isolation, the Lakepoint Forest renovation was planned as a complete project so the pool's appearance, equipment and underlying systems could work together.
