A Complete Pool Transformation
This Friendswood pool renovation combined a coordinated blue-and-gray finish palette with a complete equipment and automation upgrade. New mosaic accents, marble coping and a StoneScapes Mini Pebble interior transformed the pool visually, while new Jandy equipment and automation modernized the systems behind it.

Modernizing the Pool Inside and Out
The goal of this renovation was to create a more cohesive outdoor environment while also improving how the pool operates.
Rather than treating the finishes and equipment as separate projects, Flagship Pools approached the renovation as a complete system. The pool received a new interior finish, tile and coping along with updated equipment and automation—combining the visual transformation homeowners see with the mechanical improvements they rely on every day.
A Coastal Blue & Gray Finish Palette
The material selections for Coastal Elegance were built around a cool blue-and-gray palette designed to complement the surrounding outdoor living space.

NPT StoneScapes Mini Pebble — Aqua Blue
The new aggregate interior creates a rich blue water color while providing the durability and texture of a pebble pool finish.
Waterline & Mosaic Accents
Artistry in Mosaics — Blue Blend
Blue mosaic tile brings additional color and detail to the pool and creates a visual connection between the waterline, steps and other accent areas.
Coping
Calcutta Gray Sandblasted Marble
The new marble coping introduces a light gray natural-stone element around the pool perimeter. Its subtle variation complements the blue finishes while creating a clean transition between the pool and surrounding deck.
Deck Finish
Sherwin-Williams Dustblu
The renewed deck surface continues the blue-gray palette beyond the pool edge, helping the pool, coping and surrounding outdoor space read as one coordinated design.
Modern Equipment & Automation
The Falcon Ridge renovation wasn't limited to finishes. The pool's circulation, filtration, sanitation, lighting, electrical protection and controls were upgraded as part of a comprehensive modernization of the equipment system.
Variable-Speed Circulation
The existing 1.5 HP Pentair filter pump was replaced with a Jandy 2.7 HP ePump variable-speed pump
Variable-speed technology allows pump speed to be adjusted for different operating needs rather than relying on a single fixed speed, providing greater flexibility in pool circulation and filtration.
Upgraded DE Filtration
A Jandy DEV60 diatomaceous earth (DE) filter was installed along with a Jandy MPV80 multiport valve.
The new filtration system works with the variable-speed pump to provide the filtration capacity needed for the renovated pool while the multiport valve provides convenient control of filter functions at the equipment pad.
AquaLink Automation with iAquaLink
The existing mechanical time clock was replaced with a Jandy AquaLink RS P6 pool and spa automation system with a new power center and integrated breaker subpanel.
The system includes iAquaLink, allowing the homeowner to control compatible pool and spa functions from a smartphone or other connected device.
Valve actuators were incorporated into the system so selected water-flow functions can be controlled automatically rather than requiring manual valve adjustment at the equipment pad.
Updated Electrical Protection
GFCI circuit breakers were installed for the filter pump and cleaner pump as part of the equipment and automation upgrade.
Integrating the electrical protection into the new automation power center created a cleaner, more consolidated equipment-control system.
Updated Sanitizer Feeder
A Jandy TruChlor erosion feeder with a clear glass lid was installed as part of the equipment upgrade, providing a dedicated system for introducing sanitizer into the pool circulation system.
Bringing Color to the Pool After Dark
The existing pool light was replaced with a Jandy WaterColors Large RGBW LED Pool & Spa Light.
The 12-volt, 50-watt LED fixture provides color-changing pool illumination and was installed with a dedicated Intermatic 100-watt safety transformer.
Combined with the new automation system, the lighting upgrade extends the visual transformation of the Falcon Ridge pool beyond daylight hours.
The Finished Coastal Elegance Renovation
The completed Coastal Elegance project brings together blue mosaic tile, sandblasted marble, a StoneScapes Mini Pebble interior and coordinated decking with modern Jandy equipment and automation.
The result is a pool that feels completely renewed—not simply because the finishes changed, but because the systems behind the pool were modernized at the same time.
