Meet Marvin & Laurie Morrow

Flagship Pools is a family-owned business founded in 2024 by Marvin (M.L.) Morrow. Marvin and his wife, Laurie, are both Texas A&M University engineering graduates, each bringing more than 35 years of professional experience in their respective fields of industrial engineering and construction, and aerospace engineering.
Together, they bring extensive technical knowledge, project leadership experience, and a commitment to thoughtful planning and quality workmanship to Flagship Pools.
Their goal is to deliver lasting value to every project by helping homeowners make informed decisions, identifying practical solutions, and balancing design, functionality, quality, and investment.
Marvin (M.L.) Morrow
From International Construction Leadership to Pool Building
A Texas A&M University engineering graduate, Marvin brings more than 35 years of experience in industrial engineering and construction. Beginning his career as a structural engineer, he advanced into executive leadership, ultimately serving as a Vice President overseeing major international projects.
After retiring in 2022, Marvin founded Flagship Pools in 2024, applying his extensive engineering, construction, and project management experience to residential swimming pool construction and remodeling.
Marvin believes that delivering value begins with understanding the customer's objectives, evaluating design and construction options, and making informed decisions that balance quality, functionality, and cost.
Recognizing the specialized requirements of the swimming pool industry, he has made continuing education and professional development a priority. His Pool & Hot Tub Alliance Advanced Builder Professional certification reflects his commitment to understanding pool design, construction practices, and industry standards.
Laurie Morrow
From Aerospace Engineering to Family Business
A Texas A&M University engineering graduate, Laurie brings more than 35 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a career focused on the design, development, and operations of the International Space Station.
As a mechanical engineer who advanced into engineering management, Laurie developed extensive experience in complex technical programs, project coordination, problem-solving, and organizational leadership.
Today, Laurie works alongside Marvin in operating Flagship Pools, bringing her engineering and management background to the family business.
Her experience reinforces Flagship's emphasis on careful planning, clear communication, attention to detail, and delivering meaningful value to customers throughout their projects.
